Jasmine Matcha Latte Recipe

Jasmine Matcha Latte

This is the perfect drink for when you're craving Molly Tea, but now you have Molly Tea at home! This combination of jasmine tea milk combined with a matcha cream is our personal favourite and we can almost guarantee you'll love this as much as we do!

What you'll need:

Jasmine steeped tea:
  • 3-4 jasmine tea bags (you can also use jasmine pearls - ensure you’re using high quality tea here)
  • 200mL milk of choice
  • 10g sugar
Matcha cream top:
  • 4g Imōto matcha
  • 15mL warm water
  • 40mL heavy cream
  • 10mL of milk

Method: 

Jasmine steeped tea:
  1. Heat your milk over a stove up to a boil, add your tea bags and sugar in and immediately turn off the heat.
  2. Let your tea bags steep into the milk for 3-4 minutes before removing them from the milk and letting the milk cool in the fridge overnight.
  3. Alternatively you can cold steep the milk overnight in the fridge which will produce a less prominent tea flavour. 
Matcha cream top:
  • In a bowl, whisk together your matcha powder and water until a thick paste forms. 
  • Add in your heavy cream and a dash of milk and whisk until a light creamy consistency forms.

You can now assemble your drink in a glass with some ice, the jasmine steeped milk and your matcha cream top!
