Cold Brew Jasmine Coconut Matcha Recipe
What is a cold brew jasmine coconut matcha?
We've all heard of and know what a cold brew coffee is, but what exactly is a cold brew jasmine matcha? In this particular recipe, we will be taking the method of cold brewing coffee and using that with jasmine tea.
Jasmine tea has a very sweet, floral and earthy profile which pairs perfectly with our matcha powder!
What you'll need:
- 150mL of cold jasmine tea (brewed overnight)
- 50mL of coconut water
- 4g Imōto matcha
- Ice
- 100mL heavy whipping cream
- sugar to taste
Let's Get Brewing:
1. Use 2-3 jasmine tea bags and steep this overnight in cold or room temperature water. You may want to sweeten your jasmine tea at this point, but this is completely optional.
2. In a bowl, whisk the matcha with 20mL of 80 degree water. Let this cool completely before combining heavy whipping cream and 10g sugar and whisking this until a very light cream texture forms. You may adjust the sugar level to your liking.
3. Fill a glass with ice cubes, add your jasmine tea, coconut water and matcha cream above and enjoy!
